A successful online event on 29 February 2024 marked a new milestone at GEDA. Trailblazing innovations from GEDA were presented under the slogan ‘TIME FOR A NEW CHAPTER’, and the successful GEDA Central tool now features some amazing new additions. Now is the time to MAKE YOUR HOIST SMART!.

It is now easier than ever before to step inside the smart world of GEDA hoists. The familiar GEDA Central system now offers smart capability – along with a comprehensive range of additional functions – for the GEDA transport platforms (GEDA 300 Z/ZP, GEDA 500 Z/ZP, GEDA 1200 Z/ZP, GEDA 1500 Z/ZP and GEDA 1500 Z/ZP F).

This is all thanks to the brand-new GEDA Machine Management tool, which is available right now. The focus here is on enhanced efficiency for your own fleet – fully in keeping with the slogan MAKE YOUR HOIST SMART!

GEDA Machine Management
This new tool connects new and existing GEDA transport platforms with the tried-and-tested GEDA Central system. This offers a whole range of benefits, especially for leasing companies and owners of GEDA transport platforms. This online tool allows you to view the location of your equipment from the comfort of your office. In addition to location tracking, you can enjoy round-the-clock access to real-time data and view a detailed breakdown of usage durations and times. Another major benefit is that it helps you to save time and money. Live diagnostics makes troubleshooting easier if any faults or operating errors occur. This can cut the number of service call-outs by up to 80%, leaving more time for more important tasks. The machine disable function is especially useful for construction machinery leasing companies.

The new GEDA IoT Box Standard in combination with a transfer module is an easy way to make your GEDA transport platforms SMART. All new equipment has been factory-fitted with transfer modules since 2023/2024. But even existing equipment built in or before 2013 can be readied for GEDA Machine Management. Retrofitting the GEDA IoT Box Standard is a straightforward process in every respect.
